Hey Chaps,
Don't seem to be able to use Rekordbox direct from PC.
All support downloads are up to date and installed, firewall checked and access is allowed, RX is connected to my wireless hub and PC connects wireless to that. Windows 8.1 - Intel i7 blah blah blah.
Am I missing something completely obvious? RX works perfect on its own (Love it BTW) getting bored of importing / exporting to USB already lol

Further to this, now tried to use android device (HTC One) , Rekordbox links fine over wireless to PC from the phone and can import tracks etc.
App won't find XDJ RX on network to play from phone?
Any help anyone?
What is the make/model of the router you're using?
Can you try connecting your PC by cable to the router? Some routers don't bridge the network traffic between wired and wireless, and others can sometimes "manage" the data being transmitted, which can interrupt the Pro DJ Link.

No joy with that fix. LAN cable to router from PC and RX.
XDJ RX works fine standalone from exported USB.
Rekordbox app can't find a a Pioneer device on the network, also my HTC one on hard link into USB shows and E807 error message when using as USB device?
Is my XDJ RX even attempting communication with the router? Looked at active devices using the router and its not listed
Have you tried linking the RX directly to the PC?

I'll give you the usual run-through checklist of things you should check:
Firmware 1.50, Ill run though the list

RX on LAN direct to PC, Windows firewall deactivated for Public and Private after setting to default.
Rekordbox started from desktop and Firewall pops ups actioned to allow access.
Switched RX on 15 20 seconds later full library available.
Will just have to play with network settings to have some security over the Wireless which is still active for the PC.

Cool. Once you have achieved success with a direct connection, you know the computer itself is working okay - next adding the router to the mix will determine if it's working properly or if the router is "eating" the signal. Given that your Android device wouldn't connect either, the router may be the issue.
I had the same problem and rang pioneer now all sorted. You have to disable your anti virus, disable wifi, Alow it through your firewall.
Will work %110 fact if you do the above. Mine works fine now. On applemac this problem does not happen, only on windows. Good luck. If it helps please let me know at ssleigh60@gmail.com many thanks
I am trying to connect rekordbox with my xdj rx but still no success. I tried turning off firewall and antivirus and wifi but without success. Can some pls help?
Software is up to date version 3.2.2
wire direct from lap topto rx, turn off wifi on your computer, disable firwall, then restart your computer. i had this very same problem. If your using a mac you dont need to change anythink. do not wire via your router as some people think its normal. its not at all, wire direct from lap top to unit. are your flash drives running ok with rekordbox ?
Flash drives are running fine. Didn't do the restart on my laptop though. Will give it a try. 10x mate
EDIT: I was having the same issue until I realised that my Ethernet drivers had not updated when I upgraded to Windows 10. All sorted now (Face-palm)

i am having this same problem. Thing is when I last used my equipment 2 weeks ago everything was working fine and now it won't and I haven't altered anything. Could someone please help
i habe the same problem with the xdj 1000 mk2. the player are connected with rekordbox and i see the items below on the screen of my macbook, but i cant load a track in the player.... maybe someone could help me too? @Pulse

Just got the XDJ-RX2. Can't get it to work with straight rekordbox link (direct USB). Using macbook Pro OSX 10.11.5 (El Capitan) and Rekordbox 5.0.2 with wifi off. Rekordbox tells me controller is connected but screen on XDJ-RX2 rekordbox link is empty - no library. I downloaded some export driver but that didn't work. I think it could be something to do with my network settings but not nerdy enough to know what to touch.
