rekordbox 3.2.1 certainly is compatible with Windows 8 and 8.1; see the system requirements page: http://rekordbox.com/en/download/#system
Are you using rekordbox 3.0 or 3.2.1 (the newest version)?

Rekordbox 3.0
I'm convinced that Reckordbox isn't compatible with windows 8 or 8.1 systems. I have tried everything accept change my operating system to windows 7...

Yes Pulse, I'm using rekordbox 3.2.1.....I have tried and done everything from our last conversation. All I know is rekordbox 3.2.1 works on windows 7. the computer in using is windows 8.1, everything else works fine when I am using rekordbox on the new computer, I can load tracks, I can listen, edit, save to usb, the link pops up to show the players. the only problem I have is when I go to drop the track on the players it takes a while to load and than when it does I get a error 8302 no other codes....

So in your first post, when you said "rekordbox isn't compatible" what you meant was "I'm having problems linking my players to rekordbox" ?
Please read this guide and follow the steps to see if any of them resolve the issue (namely the firewall items), if you still have problems, post the questions from the bottom back here and we can troubleshoot.
