With the ongoing iTunes update debacle I thought that I should try to leave out the middle man and do all my playlist straight in Rekordbox. I extensively use smart playlist in iTunes and when I tried to re-create them in Rekordbox I straight away found out that the intelligent playlists lacks a very vital function, the "in playlist" option. In plain text, the ability to select a song if it is in a specific playlist. In combination with other criteria this is a very powerful tool that I use to build adaptable playlists on the fly. It would be awesome if the "in playlist" could be added to the intelligent playlists, then I would say good bye to iTunes and never rely on Apples sometimes shady update policies anymore.

I did just that and came back to iTunes after I found out, that one can't create more than 128 smart playlists. And that is not enough.
The answer from Pio's technicians was, that they "maybe" will increase the mount. (The answer for every useful feature request...)
Thanks for that information, 128 is too low for me as well. At this point I really want to leave iTunes but I guess I'll have to wait until the smart playlists finish high school ;)
Or like me, you wait for Rekord Buddy 2.0, which I think first makes iTunes obsolete and second, will be released earlier than rekordbox gets it's needed updates; and for the ones who know, we are waiting a long time now for Rekord Buddy 2.0 :-P (but it's worth it!)
