sounds like "VINYL" mode is off, with it off and paused, it will do a stutter cue so you can accurately cue, with vinyl mode on, it will pause and stop, no stutter cue

XDJ-R1 Tracks Skipping on Pause
Hi there!
My unit started skipping whenever I pause tracks queued to the right platter. Firmware is up to date. Ideas?
