The engineers feel it's a hardware failure - if you're under 30 days (or within the return policy of your retailer), you can try returning it to them, or you'll have to send it to Pioneer technical support for repair.
Ok, so I'm having this very weird issue with my unit. Mixing along no problem, I then went to fade out the left channel but nothing happens. The volume of the left channel is constantly at 100% no matter where the fader is positioned, almost as if it was switched off. When you try and move the fader you can occasionally hear a very slight volume change but I mean minimal. Sometimes it'll get louder sometimes quieter. The unit hasn't been knocked once, it's only used in my bedroom, I haven't had a single problem with it up until now. I've tried updating the software to 1.7 but that didn't help either. On/Off doesn't do a thing even when the unit was left tuned off for about 5 minutes. Tried a dozen of different tracks and still nothing. It just happened in the middle of the mix so I have absolutely no idea what the cause might be so I'm reaching out to you guys. I would love to avoid sending the unit out but if it has to be done then so be it.
Thanks, B.

@Bartek > Can you record a short video so I can show the engineers and get an answer from them?
Sure thing, here's the link for it: https://copy.com/xVs9ueK06elBaivP
Thanks, I've passed that to the engineers. Sure is odd that it's not observing the fader position!
Thank you! Yes, I know and the weirdest thing is that it happened so suddenly O_o
Ok, I will get in touch with the shop first. Thanks for looking into it for me!
