PLZ HELP....playlist problems

what can I do when my whole playlist is MISSING.
I use an extarnal usb device to keep my music.
Now the problem is the i have about 1500 tracks that dont have a location, and I don't want to spend 5 hours just to search and find each one.
Is there a smarter way to do it ?

If you simply changed file directory, you can relocate all of them in one time by following steps
1. [File] -> [Display All Missing Files] to show Missing File Manager
2. Ctrl/Command + A to select everything
3. Click [Relocate]
4. Select the track indicated as the window name, and then click [Open].
5. Missing File Manager asks you to find the other songs automatically. Click [yes].
6. Every other track will be relocated based on the relative file path.
