Collaborating Two Rekordbox Databases

Rekordbox Database #1 on USB Stick | Rekordbase Database #2 on Notebook
Okay I remember asking this question back in 2010, but I am hoping that after many updates, this option maybe available or there is a work-around.

Rekordbox Database #1
It's on a USB Stick
It has many Playlists and Histories

RekordBox Database #2
It's on a Notebook Computer
It's a completely different database

Is it possible to import the collection, including all playlists and histories from Database #1 into Database #2?

Yes, simply export from the "child" database and import it into the "parent" database. In order to move the music as well, when exporting you are presented with the option to copy the audio files - say yes and move them also! Let us know if you need more info or instructions.

Hi Pulse thanks for your reply.

Just so I do not "muck" this up, are you able to advise if this is the correct procedure?

Currently I am on my IMAC which contains my database which is the "parent"
I do not have my external hard drive plugged in where I keep all of my audio files.

I currently have the external USB stick inserted which contains the "child" history and playlists of which is what I want to eventually import to the "parent" dbase.

So do I click on the USB stick under the devices panel, then select from the file menu backup library or do I select from the file menu "export collection in XML format"

Hi Pulse

I tried to "restore" the exported library to my parent library but it asked if I wanted overwrite my existing library which is I do not want to do.

I simply wish to merge the two libraries including all music files, playlists and histories.

Please provide step by step instructions so I don't make a mistake.
