I am new to Rekordbox, and we all are to 4.0+ but when I load tracks into a new deck, it is insane how long it takes. I could not "drag & Drop" a track with instant start if I wanted to.. Serato, not a problem just drop it in the track runs and the waveform follows ASAP even for a track never analyzed. ALL my tracks are analyzed so that should not be the problem.
As well there is some noticeable lag with regard to pitch adjustment and other little things. Such as I cannot create a hot cue (A/B/C) from the CDJ's themselves I have to create it in the software. I have not explored EVERYTHING yet either. Just played for an hour, getting frustrated.
Sorry to compare it to Serato, but that is the benchmark for me, its been 8 years since I began Digital DJ, Serato is for me the gold standard.

I had the same problem last night, luckily I had enough on memory sticks to get me through not ideal. Has anyone come back to you on this yet?? All I kept getting was waiting on the display of the 2000 nexus!!
No answer yet. I have 16gb of RAM so I hope that's enough. Lol. Long and short for a DJ focused software package that is supposed to get the laptop off to the side, rather than T between you and the audience this is a fail. I have to have hands on this set up more than I do Serato. It's a step backwards not forward. And I'm sort of miffed I had to pay to find out.

As for pitch adjustment, are you pointing that the BPM displayed on CDJ is delayed when you adjust TEMPO FADER?
If so, our engineer is now working and will be addressed in a future update.
As for setting hot cue, please push REC/CALL button on the CDJs.
