Link Monitor

When using Link on my DJM, the sound also comes through my TV speakers as well as my headphones.
How can I stop it coming through my TV speakers?

My TV is connected via HDMI.
I run the master RCA's to Speaker on back of Mac so I control all sounds from Mac through my mixer.
I don't understand why Link comes through the TV speakers, even with the fader down.

Please detail how everything is connected and I'm sure we can figure it out.

I have my TV connected to my Mac via HDMI.
I have RCAs from my mixer to the headphone socket of my Mac.
This is so I can use my mixer & monitors for sounds coming from my Mac.

So the problem is that the master output is coming through the TV?

No, the master output is coming through my monitors via my mixer as it should.
This is OK.
My problem is that when I preview a track in rekordbox (small waveform in collection list) using Link, the sound comes through my TV speakers (as well as headphones).

Hmmm - it could be something as simple as changing your audio preferences in the operating system to change your outputs for the system sounds, or disable them completely.

I don't want to disable them. I like using my mixer & monitors for controlling all audio
that comes from my Mac, such as email, sms sounds, etc, as well as for listening to my music in iTunes.

That's fine, but I can't help but believe you're overcomplicating the problem because of that configuration.
