Deleted Albums or Songs still displaying in XDJ-RX DJ SYSTEM

I have a problem which i am hoping someone will be able to solve for me. I have deleted some albums and songs from my external hard drive but when i go to view the external hard drive using the XDJ-RX DJ SYSTEM they are still showing up.

What is the easiest way of re-creating the database again so it recognises and displays the songs which are present on the hard drive?

I am sure there will be plenty of people who are looking for the answer to this issue.

I removed them from my collection through the Rekordbox software and then deleted them from my hard drive. But when i put the USB drive into my XDJ-RX DJ System and select folders on the screen - the old albums are still showing up.

I was meant to say albums not folders in my previous reply.

@Paul > When you deleted them from the collection, did you also remove them from your export USB device? Simply deleting them from the collection doesn't make them mirrored (removed/added) on an export drive.

I probably haven't done that which is why i am seeing some albums still appearing when i plug the USB hard drive into my system. I want to have the master database stored on my hard drive and not my PC. Is there a way i can fix this as when i load up RekordBox on my PC all the songs are there which i want exporting to my USB device?

@Paul > The reason it does this is to protect the external contents against accidental deletion.

There is no quick-and-dirty way to have the external device sync with the collection, even if you were to try and manage it through a playlist you'd find it would still exist as part of the collection on the USB drive. Trying to purge tracks from both places takes a bit more manual manipulation unfortunately.

The collection on my USB drive is correct. I've only just started to build the collection. Is there not a way of re-creating the database on my E:drive (external hard drive) so that when i plug into the system it shows the correct songs and albums which are actually on it? If not, is there a way you can just start again using the same hard drive?
