[Solved] Problem with DDJ-RX driver on Win7

Hi,

I'm having trouble installing the asio driver on my win7pc (fine on win10 laptop). When installing, it says it installed OK, but on checking the details of the install it says it skipped the DDJ-RX_ASIO.dll? Rekordbox won't allow me to select the DDJ-RX ASIO in the menu and says 'Error while opening DDJ-RX ASIO' - hence can't get the RX to work at all with my PC which is a shame. I've tried manually extracting the dll's but I'm finding it hard to see where exactly they should go. Help!
Cheers,Matt

Hi Matt,
DDJ-RX engineers advised you to try updating Windows to the latest version using Windows Update in order for Windows to recognize DDJ-RX driver.
Because we assume that the Windows you use has not been updated to the latest since March 2, 2015, Windows recognized DDJ-RX driver where an invalid digital signature is used.
Thank you very much for your kind understanding and cooperation in advance.
Best regards,
CRM, Pioneer DJ

Many thanks for your replies guys. Took a few hours to get sorted, but finally solved. Did windows update, uninstalled drivers, didn't seem to work. Then uninstalled drivers through safe mode (including all rekordbox stuff, appdata etc) - again didn't work - got BSOD Drivers IRQ less than etc etc message when Rekordbox opened. But persevered and reinstalled everything and finally no crashes and everything works OK. Don't know really what I did, just kept uninstalling and reinstalling drivers and rekordbox!
Just have to say, what a great bit of kit - very impressed!
