Tempo/mastertempo issue on sync

Hi,

I just tried out my new DDJ-RX tonight and on multiple times I almost had a stroke on what the device does combined with RBDJ.

The worst thing was that at some points when I left sync on and a track finshes, the BPM rises really high and sometimes really low. And overrides the master tempo value from +6 to WIDE. When this first happened I janked the fader which resulted in a dropout of the audio (B Deck).

I am not 100% sure it also occurred when sync was off, but I think it happened once.

Also, what is really annoying:

When you use the autoloop, you have to press play first before you can hit cue, because pressing cue first will jump to the start of the song or it disables the autoloop (this even occurred when RBDJ showed the loop was active sometimes. It's really strange.

Same goes for hotcue. It start directly (ain't used to that coming from Reloop, but ok, I can live with that, but when I press cue, the goes to the start of the song, ignoring the hotcue point.

After two hours, I managed to work with these things, but at the beginning I was literally fighting the controller and RBDJ.

Are my setting wrong or are (some) these really bugs?

Many thanks in advance!

The BPM jump / pitch range change are issues that Pioneer is working to address in a future release of rekordbox. Thanks for your patience.

As for analysis, your tracks should be analyzed in NORMAL mode if they have a consistent (electronic) drum, but DYNAMIC if they have a live drummer and there is variation in the timing of the beat.

Only thing I can think of is track analysis from Normal to Dynamic ... leaving it at Normal

i resolved it with changing the Analysis from Dynamic to Normal. But for me it is only a workaround. on Serato you can also have a dynamic BPM analysis without this issues.... so for me it is a bug

Finally had the opportunity to update today (didn't work before), but it seems solved now. Haven't had issues with it today and I played around for a couple of hours.

I also changed the analysis thing from Dynamic to Normal, but I really don't get what it does. Since it still jumps BPM occasionally.

Thanks for the tips guys!!
