I have heard good things about the Samsung drives, but I also have a Monster 256 SSD and it's great! SSD seem to be a better world then the "old" standard external drives as far as quality and issues go.
Hey Gang
I just upgraded my DJ rig. Long gone are the CDJ 800mkIIs and in there place is a set of XDJ 1000s. I really love these players so far and I don't miss CD's one bit.
I have been converting my vinyl collection for years and would like a sizable HD to store my music. I convert to 24bit WAV so size will matter.
The HD that I have my eye on is the new Sandisk Extreme 500 Portable SSD (480GB) Anybody have experience with this drive?
Any other specific drive that you would recommend?
Thanks!

I'm happily using external verbatim 128gb ssd since one year and it's working beautifully!
Thanks guys, I'm going to look these drives up. Keep em coming
There are a ton of sales on right now for SSDs, you can pick up 1TB for as little as $350. While I steer users clear of Sandisk for their USB drives, their SSDs are decent enough and will do the trick. Personally, I prefer Samsung and Crucial drives - while slightly more expensive than the average (and not as expensive as Intel), they pack great speed & quality, as well as 3-5 year warranties.
