XDJ RX USB stick won't load

Hi,

just received my brand new XDJ RX today and I'm having slight problem with it. Turn it on and everything is fine and then it comes up with "connect USB storage device into top USB1 port". The problem is, is that my USB stick is in. I've tried turning it off and turning it on and then putting it in with the same result. Tried USB2 but again, nothing changes.

 

anyone any clues?

@Jordan > Usually that only appears if the unit is trying to update the firmware. I would recommend trying to update it to see if maybe it had been left (somehow?) in an incomplete update state. First thing to do is download the firmware here, then unzip it and put it on the USB stick, connect the drive, power-up the RX and see if it performs the update.
