[SOLVED] Locating instruction video for setting loops on CDJ Nexus

I've read posts but I am still lost because pressing Memory hasn't worked. Probably because I'm not doing it correctly.

I really hate RB, everyone who has spent time in the part of the forum knows. So I would rather do all my cues, hot cues, loops and so on with the CDJ. Tonight I had the auto loop going but could not figure out how to save the darn thing so that the next time I play that same song on my PLAYLIST it would auto loop at the end of the track.. I hate coming on here and asking so much but...

Anyone know of a video that step by step goes over what I am trying to do?

In the spirit of not creating new posts, is there any reason for a USB link to all CDJ's, DJM, and RMX if not updating firmware? I understand maybe stting for RMX but do I need to leave the USB in for the others all the time or even RMX for that matter?

the usb ports on the back of the CDJ and top of the DJM are used for MIDI/HID and sound card reasons, the top USB ports of the CDJ's are for firmware and usb drives with music on them obviously

What switch are you using?

ok, so it's one of the good ones tested at least. Did you try switching cables on the bad one, maybe its faulty, I doubt it, but you never know.

Funny thing is, I've had that forever and it just happens to be on the Pioneer accepted list.

Maybe, does the eithernet cord from the computer go into any port or?

yes, the ports should not matter, On mine i use 123 for the cdjs and mixer and 4 for laptop, also make sure your wireless if off on the laptop, at times RB may pick that up as another connection and scwew with the wired ethernet part

@Justin I'm just curious why you're using the Netgear GS108 when you have a DJM-2000 Nexus? At least you're saying you have one according to this post: http://pioneerdj.zendesk.com/entries/23177951-Thank-you-Pioneer-

Didn't you read the Pro DJ Link Setup Guide I posted in this thread?: http://pioneerdj.zendesk.com/entries/23187707-Rekordbox-to-PC-No-USB-No-SD-#post_%23%7Bpost.id%7D

I really think you should start reading the manuals...

Oak, it wasn't working. Maybe I did it wrong and will check again but I couldn't get RB to work so I thought maybe I needed to use my Hub. True, I hate manuals but I did look it over but I kept seeing a router so... I'll go try it again for giggles.

@OAK... I'm so glad you brought this up again. I guess something didn't click at first. It works now. Pulling the Netgear out! WOOT!
