[CLOSED] CDJ NXS 2000 update ver 1.10 bug

confirmed, with sync off, "Master" does not switch between mixes. Personally I dont mind but some people may use that as another indication of being "live"

confirmed for me too. it is very painful if you change the bpm on the cdj who did not master on. slice the beat will no longer sync

Just to point out, this is in the release notes:

 Unexpected switching of Master Player and Slave Player when using Slip Scratch or Slip Pause during SYNC.

The change is related with the above release note:

- "Master is not automatically switched to other players where Sync is OFF."

Otherwise BPM is changed unexpectedly in accordance with switching Master, which could result in a situation too difficult to cope with.

- “unless you press master button before each transition to see the moving 4 beat bars at the top of the screen.”

This behavior has not been changed with the recent update. The Master Button is not enabled while a track is being loaded (before 4 beat bars, which is actually a phase meter, are displayed) because BPM cannot be counted during loading a track.

It is not to be normaly have to master the slection player manually. if you change the pitch of the player who is not master then the effects of the mixer will no longer sync. it is essential to return to the situation of the version 1.06

well a guess maybe both mine has been working not as intended gavin.as without using sync, my master & slave switching used to alternate in turn  automatic after loading & i kind of got used to & prefered it.but now have to press button to get the same effect not hard work.but as this did only change after the recent update & there was no mention of this change in the release notes thought it may not have been intended.
