RekordBox DJ is billed as the one with the best latency ..
This means more CPU usage

FollowCpu usage is high
hi,using MacBook Pro 17inch 2010 500gig 2.4 i5 4gig ram. My storage is not even half full. Library 17,000 songs. My cpu goes up to 150. When running Rekordbox.Dj Never goes past 50 with Vdj or Serato. Using ddjsx2. Is this 150 way too high? Would it be less of a drain if I increased my ram to 8? And storage to 1 tbThanks djrick

@Djrick c > Based on the age / mode, I'm guessing that MacBook Pro has a discrete video card in it. We've had a few users with that configuration with similar issues. Please try lowering the waveform drawing rate to MEDIUM in the preferences.
Also, if you were analysing tracks, that's perfectly normal behaviour.
Would you install the software to check whether this problem is improved?

This software switches the graphic processing from GPU to chipset.
@pulse
That´s not the problem!! see my post

@beany > This isn't your thread; please don't comment if you're not contributing to the original poster's issue. I have commented on that other thread as well.
My rekordbox is using too much cpu, so the audio is not working very well. My pc is a intel core i3 4GB memory RAM and 500 GB hd.
@Alberto > While the i3 processor is supported, it's not terribly powerful. Can you run DXDIAG on your computer and post a screenshot of the System tab results?
