You need to use a tool like ASIO4ALL in order to merge two audio devices into one interface for use with the software, that way you can assign it properly.
I'm running Windows 7, with 2 CDJ 900nxs and a DJM 850 mixer. I recently got Rekordbox 4.0 and I successfully connected the 2 CDJs to the laptop and I can hear sound, but both CDJs come in from one channel on the mixer.
My connections are RCA from CDJs to mixer, a link cable between the CDJs and USB cables from each CDJ to the laptop. I even tried a USB cable from mixer to laptop.
Rekordbox sees it all, but I'm afraid it's a configuration issue. In Rekordbox it says to setup my inputs to map the decks to the channels (with the mixer plugged in with USB).

Thank you for the response.
I'm going to give that a shot. I installed ASIO4ALL.
So the 2 CDJs plug in via USB, and in my Audio settings, I use ASIO4ALL v2 ? Does the mixer need to be plugged in via USB as well? I'm trying to just use the CDJs as controllers essentially. My thought process is that the CDJ interfaces with the laptop/software, audio goes out of CDJs to the RCA, into the mixer.
