Djm 2000 nexus

Been pulling my hair out on how to use four channels with the djm 2000 nexus with out using djm2000 nexus. I've tried using the midi screen. Rigged it with USB but am getting no were no sound control. Tried downloading drivers for it. Nothing works. Is there a step by step Gide to what I need to do and what leads I need?

Sorry Pulse. Been trying to use Traktor with the DJM 2000 Nexus as a stand alone controller

It's not automatic like that - are you familiar with how MIDI works and how to configure controls within Traktor?

Yeah, a TSI file will get you started, but I would recommend that you do some reading / watch videos on how to configure it and set up the MIDI assignments within Traktor as every DJ is different in how they want to configure the touch interface and mixer components to control the software.

As for the audio configuration, I've created a video here that goes into detail on setting up the DJM-2000 for use with Traktor.

Do I need a midi lead then? Also do you have a Mac version of the video. Thanks for your help too.

@Mark > The only difference to Mac is the need to create an aggregate device if you want to use the mixer in 6/2 configuration.

Your best bet is to figure out how you want to use the mixer and the software, then go through the functions in the Controller Manager preferences, add the ones you want, then click LEARN on the Device Mapping section, press the control on the mixer and that's it.

The first part of the video shows that, just ignore the CDJ portion.
