Transition Tracks with XDJ-RX (& Rekordbox)

After analyzing my collection, exporting it back to the USB drive for the XDJ-RX, I noticed that my transition tracks BPM's had changed, not to mention, don't have proper beat grids throughout (seems impossible with multiple BPMs on one track). Any ideas on how to fix this?

I personally handle transition tracks in 2 different ways:

#1 for the ones that I don't care about FX being quantized and are simple BPM transitions I just manually type the starting BPM and ending BPM in the tag somewhere.

#2 for the ones that I really really need the beat grid to be perfect - I analyze them in dynamic mode plus I take the time with Rekordbox and manually push and pull each beat marker into place.... It takes a while but its worth it in the end! I also really only have maybe 10 transition tracks, if you have a lot then I feel your pain. :)

Here's the problem with a transition track - even if you were to grid the changing BPMs, if you have sync enabled, the player will try to keep the transitioned BPM at the same value (eg. a 130>110 transition will have the 110BPM portion being played at 130 to maintain sync).

Thank you Anthony Howard! Great feedback. My issue is with rekordbox analyzing and changing what the bpm tag says (I always tag it with the starting BPM, putting both BPMs in the title as well). For some reason, it's not accurate. And Pulse, thanks for the heads up, but I really don't like sync - yet! I see the value in it, but only if/when all of the tracks you play are perfectly prepared. Hell, you can even DJ without headphones when that's the case! But I add over 100 tracks a week it seems these days to my collection! Do I play them all, no. But I don't really have time to prepare that many tracks. I'm sure I'll get better and faster as I get used to it. Still having some issues getting beat grids correctly on some tracks, so I'll consider going back and dynamically analyzing those tracks like Anthony Howard mentioned.
