Cue functionality with XDJ

Hi there,

Recently bought the XDJ RX so I have something to practice with at home before using 2000's at gigs.

Seem to be having some issues when loading tracks, with other CDJs I'm used hitting play, getting the pitch right, and then hitting cue and the track goes back to the start, but I just can't get that to happen with XDJ.

I've looked through the manual, googled, but I can't see an answer to this. Is there one?

Nothing, the track continues to play

Will try that, but I was having problems with it auto playing, the only way to stop it was turning auto cue off (I never have auto cue on CDJ2000's and get no issues)

so you have to choose one or the other, cue wont due anything unless a cue point is set, if you are on auto play with auto cue off then you would manually have to set a cue point on the fly if you plan on going back via the cue button

Fair enough, will have a play around this evening.

Just strange it works fine on 2000's (and rekordbox) without setting cue points...

all depends on your settings

I believe if you have Rekordbox set to make cue points at the first beat automatically AND the CDJ is set to read that change, then it would work the way you want.

on the RX go into the menu and change the AUTO CUE LEVEL to MEMORY and see if that helps

I have the exact same problem and all the suggestions didn't help.

Any Ideas? Cue button doesn't work at all.

@Zusan > If you have AUTO CUE enabled, the track will create a cue point near the start of the track (the exact location depends on your settings, as @BriChi noted), so if you press PLAY the track will play, then press CUE and the track will return to the master cue point.
