Crashing and not reading when I export a large amount of playlists

Hi guys,
so basically I'm using a sony PNY 250GB 3.0 stick, and latest record box software, it all works fine, until I export all my playlist which is about 12k of songs and a hundred or so playlists and folders, i know this is a large amount but it still leaves about 70 gb left on the stick, when I export it all the the USB it doesn't read the playlists etc on the cdi's it just has the folders as if its a normal usb. it works fine with no issues when I'm only exporting half that amount, so I was wondering if this is a common issue and you can't have that many playlists, (Main reason I have so many songs is that If i want a song that isn't in my Main set of playlists I can just search for it and chances are I will have it in my playlists that are "Random Tracks"

Any help would be great!

@Joe > Sorry to hear of the crashing - the capacity or volume of export shouldn't be a problem. Chances are it's one (or more) files which are causing issues. If you export half, are you able to export the other half with no problem?

How is the USB drive formatted? Did you use a Windows utility?

I found that once it has worked it is very slow on initially reading and un plugging? this isn't a problem tho just presume it is normal?

Inregards to the files, I do get an export failed list of tracks that were not put on,. Would this have an effect then? How can I make them ok to be put on? Or would it be easier just to take them out of the playlist altogether?? Ov not tried exporting the other half separately.
The USB is FAT32 I believe and I use a macbook.
