12) Provide as much detail of the issue here:
Rekordbox is working fine untill I start to use the preview function. Inconsistently my speakers start to make horrible noise with one song, not with the other. The sound differs between songs. The horrible sound disapperes when double clicking the next song and load it in the top-player (which works normal). Keep using the preview function in the end results in a crash of Rekordbox. And showing a small white box saying "Unexpected application error". After 20 seconds or so Windows Explorer startsup automatically showing the folder with the system crash file. I have generated 3 in a hour trying to force this (to find consistencies).

Please install rekordbox 4.0.3 and see if the issue is resolved; you can install rekordbox 4 alongside rekordbox 3 using the same database without issue.

Thanks this solves the issue related to the horrible sound in the preview. However, I did experience 2 unexpected errors with this new version (error logs available). After the unexpected error, Rekordbox crashes immediately.

I don't understand the reason of your reply. We are in the middle of a conversation and all of a sudden I have to re-check some basic checklist. Why? I am still the same user that started this topic.

The current issue after upgrading to the latest version is that Rekordbox crashes sometimes when uploading cover art. The same error message as above appears.

This issue happened about 8 times in 3 hours. All of them result in error-log files. After restarting Rekordbox I am able to upload the same covert art to the same mp3 (the file that caused Rekordbox to crash). This does not happen with all files, just some.

The reason I was asking you to check back to that list was mainly to see if the problem was related to your computer or the database.

I've converted this topic into a support ticket for you, you should receive an email notification with a link.

Well the only thing on my system that changed is the upgrade to 4.0.3 :-).

I did receive an email. It contains this sentence: "Please note that your support request was generated in a non-standard method and has been closed."

Maybe the mail with notification link comes in later?

Ah - crap. We have some triggers in place to eliminate tickets being generated accidentally, the "convert to ticket" feature is a new addition to the forum and I didn't think that would cause an issue when creating a ticket - thanks for reporting that back to me. I'll see if I can fix that and do it again!

Okay, looks like I was able to make another one and you should have received a link to the ticket.
