Hi guys...
Lets say 2 DJ's are switching off during a night. One uses Serato via HID mode and a Rane SL2. The other uses USB flash drives, no laptop at all.
The issue we're having here is the USB drive sound will NOT pass through the SL2 so it ends up being a whole process of carefully unplugging the related RCA cables and hooking the CDJ up directly to the mixer one at a time as the USB Drive DJ goes on.
Is there a way to leave the Serato/SL2 set up alone all connected and such and have the USB drive music pass through the SL2?
actually i got the answer i was looking for turns out you need to change the serato software from INT internal mode to THRU mode that allows the Flash Drive to play through the SL2 into the mixer

if you're using a four channel mixer do the following:
CDJ Left --> Channel 1
CDJ Right --> Channel 2
SL2 Left --> Channel 3
SL2 Right --> Channel 4
When you are using Serato in HID mode, you don't need to connect RCA from CDJ --> SL2 inputs.
