CDJ-900 NXS & Serato DJ: jump back to beginning of track
I'am using 2 CDJ 900NXS with Serato DJ and have been recently experiencing strange behavior with the players.
They will randomly jump back to the start of the tracks on occasion without touching any buttons on the players or laptop.
Has anyone else had issues like this? And how can I solve this problem?
I've used Scratch Live with CDJ 400's - no issues
I've used Serato DJ with CDJ 2000's - no issues
I've used Serato DJ with CDJ 2000 NXS - no issues
So I'am sure it's the 900NXS players.
The players are up to date with most current firmware and my MacBook Specs are as follows:
OSX 10.10.5
2.6 GHz Intel Core i7
8 GB Ram
Setup:
Macbook, Serato SL2, 2 CDJ 900 NXS, USB-Hub and Pioneer DDJ SP1.

I'm using Serato DJ 1.8.1 (the latest Version).

Cant say this is a known issue at this stage and by your testing this looks like a isolated issue to the 900NXS as you mentioned its happening with Virtual DJ as well. Perhaps its a faulty set? I'd suggest getting in touch with Pioneer to see if they can shed any light on this as if it happens on both Virtual DJ and our Software its probably CDJ related.
