PLEASE DISABLE AUTOFILL !!

I've asked for this many times, please can there be an option to disable auto-fill

I've got a broken leg and importing and cataloging a lot of trax an the autofill, especially on the album filed, is driving me insane. It is taking me about 5 attempts to type in BZRK !!

Please please, make this happen as an Xmas present.

Thanks

I cannot STAND the autofill! It slows my workflow. I have to tag anywhere from 25 to 100 tracks a week and have very little time for things that I have to go back and correct. I know I can use a 3rd party software to change the tags, but come on...I USE Rekordbox to prepare songs. I don't normally yell at my computer but this thing makes me lose it. Surely the software engineers can put an option in to enable/disable it.

Please!

I have nearly broken my keyboard a few times out of frustration.

SHUT THIS THING OFF! Don't tell it's a system issue! When you start doing something with it?

+1 to this. It turns an already time-consuming process into something nigh-on-impossible. Perhaps one in twenty times the autofill is useful, but by that twentieth time you're so used to compensating for its incorrect assumptions that you just delete whatever correct suggestion the program has made.

It's also a problem that whenever you click in the "Track Title" box, the cursor automatically jumps to the first character, even when you've deliberately clicked somewhere else on purpose.

These may seem like relatively trivial issues from the developer side, but when you're naming 3,000 tracks, they're a massive issue, and if they're not addressed quickly, they'll create a niche to be filled by competitors.

Please make an option to disable autofill! This is by far the most annoying thing in Rekordbox....truly slows workflow.

For the love of god, please fix this! The official statement "lol - it can be helpful, but also annoying. :D" is wrong, not to mention very unprofessional.

The auto-complete function almost always fills your artist field with a collaboration you do not want. Auto-fill is only helpful if it is not done in an intrusive way. For example, it may fill the field with a suggestion. This means that if the suggestion is not accepted, it should not be filled in, which it is at the moment.

In every normal auto-fill the suggestion is only written to the input box if the user accepts it, for example by pressing the right arrow key, or tab. At the moment the auto-fill is always accepted, which is bad.

My suggestions to resolve this issue:

  1. Remove the auto-fill altogether. Nobody will miss it.
  2. Make the auto-fill suggestive, so that users must accept it with a certain key (right arrow or tab for example, not enter, since it is the key to finish writing to a field).
  3. Make the auto-fill non-intrusive by using a dropdown list instead of automatically filling the input field.

Finally, my apologies for being so blunt. But this annoying "feature" has frustrated me too many times. I hope Pioneer will listen and resolve this issue. Thanks in advance.
