Yes, Rekordbox DJ (since 4.0.6) is MIDI mappable. No VST support though.
I play regularly on a radio station with CDJ2000s. I manage my music library with Rekordbox. I've been using Traktor as well but am finding it a bit of a chore maintaining both libraries. I am looking to do some shows from home and am considering buying a controller. I am also working on a live dub project and wish to use the controller for that as well so am looking at the A&H Xone 4D as I could potentially use this for both projects.
Is Rekordbox DJ midi mappable and has it been tested with non-pioneer hardware? Is there any possibility to use 3rd party VSTs as send effects?
Thanks,

You could use some convoluted audio routing through another software application to have 3rd party VSTs as outboard effects, but not directly within rekordbox.
OK thanks. I guess what I need to do is try it out. I'm trying to find a solution that doesn't involve me buying too much gear. I've gone off the Xone:4D as I don't need all the analog mixer channels for my live setup and I alreayd have a DJ mixer. I'll have analog ins for the live setup but I'm going to be mixing them in ableton using VSTs. So For controlling ableton I plan to use 2 x Xone:K1. Smaller size as well is better for portability and they have more useful launch buttons. I'll also can also use with Rekordbox, 1 for transport & browsing, 1 for fx. I have a MOTU soundcard that I usually use for laptop djing. I'll route this into my DJ mixer and then I have channels for turntables too.
Are there controller maps available for non Pioneer-Hardware?
Hey I have a 4d ... I wonder this now myself. Would the internal soundcard be able to act as a DVS for cdjs?
Can I map the midi to control decks c and d ?
This would be amazing.
I will try this week and report back
@Markis > Not officially supported, so if you get it working, great!
