When I play with old cdj 900s, l am not able to import any sorting options, although they are being imported from rekordbox onto my usb. That feature works perfectly on 900 nxs and 2000, just not on 900s.

Do you have active sort options? Check the "Sort" tab for your USB. I had a similar problem with a few sort options not appearing on the original 900's but on any higher model. Adding the sort options solved that for me.
Yeah all search options are active on my usb device, that's not the issue.
Strange enough, most DJs I know have the same issue with that particular CDJ 900.
Can it be a firmware problem?
