Autoloops

Hey,

So while preparing my set, I prepared (for two consecutive songs) loops at the beginning and at the end of them. I placed them in both memory and hot cues as loops.

I was wondering how can I make them play automatically and stop them without stopping, forwarding or whatever... the song. I just want them to play so that I can switch songs during that time then continue the song normally. I am using CDJ 2000 decks btw. Please you'd save my life.

Set the loop you want (4/8/16 beats etc), press I, then M to put it into the memory bank. Once there, click the orange icon next to the memory so that it turns red.

From now on the track will automatically enter the loop when it hits that part

So you want to jump to the last loop from anywhere in the song?
If so, just assign a hot cue and press the cue just after the last beat in the bar

no that's not what I meant.

Let's say I have a song.

I play a loop (which was marked red) and is at the beginning of the song. Then when i'm done looping, I exit it. Then I play the song normally but I want that my second loop plays automatically without jumping to it or anything so that I can switch song during this loop.

sorry if I wasn't clear enough

Still not 100% what you mean.

If you want the loop to loop automatically when the track gets to that part, follow instructions in my first post ;)

I remember it working as Sinclair mentions too.

as long as the orange circular arrows are lit on the memory cue the loop show start automatically. When you exit the first loop it is just that loop that stops working AFAIK.

Unless there's a bug that's how I understood it to work at least.

Otherwise, might be better to post a video with the issue.
