White noise sound when playing tracks though Rekordbox 4.0.5

Hi,

I have had Rekordbox for about 6 years and never had any issues until now..

Since the 4.0 updates came out I seem to be getting a white noise / Crackling sound when I'm listening to the track via my lap top.

When playing via CDJ's all is fine and everything works and sounds exactly how it should.

I have changed the buffer which has had no effect, I have made sure that Rekorbox is the only program running to minimise CPU (my laptop is 8GB RAM)

Its really starting to annoy me, hope someone can help solve this issue.

Thanks

OLAH Lee. Please check your differents volume levels from your computer to balance them.

Maybe when you play directly the tracks, your soundcard's master out is sending a saturated signal to speakers or headphones...

I never have all the volume outputs at 100%.

Take Care,

OK, I will try and change volume settings.

I should point out though that this noise only happens randomly and lasts from 1-3 seconds and the rest is fine... also I have reinstalled one of the original versions from disc and updated it a few times and it works perfectly, this noise only appears from 4.0 onwards.

Thanks
