hope Pioneer does something on REKODBOX DJ issues ..
Hi,
I've tried just about everything, including what I could read from the posts and support here, but I just can't seem to fix this problem.
I have a macbook pro, running OS X El Capitan with all the latest drivers, firmware updated etc. for my new DDJ-RZ.
Despite all my efforts I can't get the DDJ-RZ to control rekordbox. It is recognised in the audio settings, but there is no interaction.
When I hook it up to my old iMac it works perfectly. However, this is not really any good for DJing.
I've tried:
1) Uninstalling and reinstalling rekordbox
2) Uninstalling and reinstalling the driver
3) Setting DDJ to forced mode as described in the DDJ manual page 24
Please help - I'm getting pretty desperate here.
Best regards,
Soren Wille

Check if you have any conflicting software on your MBP! Compare it to your iMac.
I had a similar issue and it was caused by a software called Loopback (I had a configuration in Loopback for my WeGO3) and it caused my DDJ-RZ to be non responsive. As soon as I disabled the config in Loopback everything worked as expected.
I don't have any problems at all with rekordbox dj and the DDJ-RZ, no audio drop-outs or freezing. Be sure to analyze all your files and optimize your MBP!
@mack macky Your comment isn't really helpful...
hi oak , I don't know how shall I put it then , My laptop is new ( 2 weeks old) , no other programme in it , Even, ITunes have I deleted . just make sure only RBDJ is on it . I have 1066 mp3 track and 1031 of them analyzed and the balance I have the analyze locked on, Due to of it long length ( my own mixtape) at which the longest is 127min ( only one ) and the rest are mostly 40 to 50 min .
I have unticked ( off) the noticfication update for NVdia graphic card and also my wifi is turned to off , I have a cooler master additional pad under my laptop to to make sure the cooling is sufficient .
While on idling , meaning no tracks loaded on any decks . I still see the dropout meter spiking to almost 75 to 80 % . and when I check on the CPU status it only reads 9 to 11% useage and running at 1.17hz .
my laptop has no games at all cause I bought this laptop solely for rekodbox dj prog and also my DDJ SZ came with Serato at which I only installed it on my DESKTOP .
And even on my desktop . the REKODBOX DJ seems to spike during idle state (no tracks loaded )
Well for a starter you can start your own thread and keep your comments there and not hijack other peoples threads... Just saying!
well .. I think this is sharing of what some of us going thru .. I am sure u have seen others have some issue as well . so I think when there is an issue and many talk about on it , definitely someone will come up with a solution . so it is best to share both the good n bad so that everyone benefits .
btw without doubts I liked the RBDJ and its functionality and that is why I bought it buy not even trying out for 30days . RBDJ looks and feels better,so lets hope it works to best .END.
@mack macky > Are you having any actual problems or just complaining about the CPU usage?
