S9 random pop sound

I have a random pop sounds coming from my s9.  Just one pop sound. Seems to happen ever couple of minutes

I have a 2013 MacBook Air. I've messed with the buffer settings. I've also tried 5 different tech 12s. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this?  Could it be a bad mixer?

Yep!! Friday I had a a pop sound go through my DDJ RZ  and it was horrible and annoying almost like a metronome sound. I also have a Mac Pro , I installed Melodics last week. It was a horrible experience and this never happened to me using my CDJs using USB. Thinking that a controller was a hug e mistake:( I had to completing turn of my laptop but it still happened 30 min later....Two weird thing that I noticed is went I touched the mouse pad it stopped and twice when I highlighted a song if took over and the track title went on 000000000. Something is definitive wrong!! And won't be using this product in public until I'm sure it will work seemless.

deactivate p-n-t to see if the popping sound goes away. do you get a red/orange led light on the upper right side of the serato screen before the glitch appears?

Alexander, I deactivate the pitch n time last night.  Seemed to be working.  Never noticed it going to red/orange before, but I probably never looked.  I'll do some more testing but I think you may be correct in thinking it's PNT.

This is definitely a prevalent issue that is going to start appearing more and more often in the forums. It's something that most DJs will probably overlook at first as it is a small random glitch but in my case it also messes with the Serato DVS contorl system in that it makes it feel as if the DVS is experiencing USB drop outs while the Mixer is adding in additional Noise. I've actually had it happen without turntables connected s well while in internal mode. If I unplug the USB cable and plug it back in or turn the mixer off and back on again the issue goes away for a little bit.

I'm running Windows 10 on an i7 64 Bit processor with 16GB ram and a 970 Graphics card 7600 rpm 1TB hard drive with usb 3.0. my own post on the issue can be found on these forums and on Serato's as well. My own post on the same issue can be found at:

@Emir > Please don't cross-post; we're aware of the issue and are in communication with Serato to investigate the complaints and a solution.

Sorry about that, I have been all over the forum trying to see if others are experiencing the same problems and apparently they are so wanted people and the engineers to know they aren't alone and it's an issue that probably needs to be resolved soon. As you know for every one person that files a complaint there are countless others that just complain in silence and simply loose their trust in a company and a brand and never return. That is why companies welcome complaints on service and on products and technical difficulties etc... Plus it helps them discover safety issues or technical issues with their products and sometimes offers suggestions to make their products even better in the future. I was having a hard time finding specific cases that were related to the DJM S9 so if someone were also looking for similar cases wanted them to be able to find identical issue cases easier. Sorry.

The reason I ask you not to cross-post is it becomes to provide individualized assistance when another user comes in with that they may consider to be a similar problem and then they take-over the communication chain and the original poster's issue gets lost in the shuffle or goes unresolved as a new and different issue is being discussed with another user. Thanks for the consideration and we hope to address everyone's problem.

The engineers have provided the following information:

"The noise is output even after closing the fader so that the mixing process itself does not work properly."

We would like to know if this noise occurs when using only analog source without using Serato DJ or a computer to identify the root cause. We assume it could be caused by a hardware failure. If this issue is not fixed after reinstalling both firmware and driver, we would advise you to send the unit to a local service center.
