DJM NXS2 + Ableton Sync

With the DJM NXS2 how would I go about implementing Ableton 9 into my setup. Ideally, I would use Ableton to fire off loops and one shots to accompany the music on the XDJs. I'm currently using a pair of XDJ-1000 with the DJM-900NXS2 mixer (ProDjLink) with Rekordbox (standard version) on OSX El Capitan.

I gather that I would assign the two open channels on the mixer via Ableton's Preferences menu, selecting the NXS2 as the sound card and assigning the respective Outputs accordingly. I'm not sure where to go after this step with regards to getting Ableton and the DJM to sync with one another, specifically with the DJM acting as Master and Ableton as a Slave. Furthermore, is there any use and/or advantage using the Aux Send/Return USB with Ableton?

Sidenote: I tried to download @Pulse's DJM800 Guide, it seems as though the link is no longer valid. I was greeted with  "Error. Page cannot be displayed. Please contact your service provider for more details. (9)" so I figured I'd post this on the good ol forum.

P.S. Bonus points for helping integrate Push 2 into the above mentioned scenario (yes, I want to have my cake and eat it too).

@Pulse you sir, are a gentleman and a scholar. Your guide is epic and is exactly what I needed.

The thread discussing extracting the Rekordbox tempo/position from the ethernet protocol is mind blowing and has me excited. And, correct me if I'm wrong, I was under the impression based on some of the posts in that thread is that ultimate, this may be a means to send tempo/measure info from CDJs to external MIDI devices without the need for a computer. Is this accurate or did I misread?

Nonetheless, this is good shit.

Cheers.

You're correct; it could certainly send BPM signal to other devices without a computer, simply by sniffing the packet data over the ProDJ Link.

Glad that information helped, if you need any clarification / updating, just shout.

I HAVE THAT SAME PROBLEM.

I do not have the way to synchronize ableton with djm900nxs2 We need a solution

when you synchronize the bpm it does not allow to launch loop or tracks from ableton_push2. the tracks do not start, if I deactivate the ext in aboleton if it allows to launch, I do not know what the problem is.

It also synchronizes the bpm but they are not in the same compass (ej, adjust the bpm number, but not the compasses, or synchronize the beats)
