DDJ-WEGO-3 Crossfader "bleed"

Bought the wego-3 a few weeks back - just got a quick question.

The crossfader, when connected to a laptop (running Virtual DJ 8) or an iPad (using DJ2), doesn't seem to go fully to the left or right - physically it does but sound still comes out of the speakers if say music is playing on the left deck but the crossfader is fully to the right (and vise versa).

If i use the crossfader on the software (ie not using the controller) i can take it fully to the left/right cutting the sound completely. I can see when using Virtual DJ8 that the controller only takes it down to 10-12%

Am i doing something wrong or is there a fault with my Wego3?
