XDj - RX Microphone issue

Hi, I am having a problem with my XDJ - RX when I let someone rap on the microphone I can hear him in my headphones. Is there a way to let him rap without him being in my headphones as it effects my mixing.

You will always hear the microphone in the headphones unless the mixing knob is turned all the way to CUE

I don't know if this works, because I don't use a mic.

The headphones mixing knob is fully set on "CUE"?

The mic is going to MASTER OUT.

Focus on your Headphones section, there are two knobs, and two yellow cue buttons.

Twist the top knob to CUE and then press both CUE buttons so they are illuminated.

This will give you 100% your decks in your headphones, and you can mix that way, and to check what the crowd is hearing you can either:

- remove your headphones and listen or,

- twist the top knob towards master and the crowd volume will begin to override your deck volume

Hope that helps...
