Have to wait to the dvs pack launch? Them Will be free for djm900nxs2 buyers? want to use My technics with timecode and i Will love to do it with Rekordbox....

I have the same question, we have to buy?
Thanks for your response.
Do you know if dvs pack Will be free for djm900nxs2 buyers?
Think that is not fair that you make a investment like a djm nxs2 and a pair Of cdj nxs2 and dont have a free Rekordbox and you make a investment like a half Of a djm and you get a free license...
I'm sorry if it seems unfair, but rekordbox DJ is not required software to use your CDJs. rekordbox (the regular version of the software; export mode) is free and allows you to connect your CDJs via LINK to send music to the players, or you can manage your music and export it to a USB device for use with the CDJs without the computer. Again, the key is that the CDJs can be used WITHOUT rekordbox DJ.
Devices like the DDJ-R series of controllers are designed specifically for rekordbox DJ and are virtually useless without it, so they are bundled with a license for rekordbox DJ.
I understand your frustration but this is the current pricing model for rekordbox DJ.
I am sure those who have just forked out 6000 bucks for a nxs2 setup can afford 99 more bucks for a lisense.
Hi Mark thanks for your support.
Have downloaded rekorbox and can use it with iPhone, with wifi, with usb drives, my mac... using Link... It's awesome!!
I was confused because of this:
http://www.pioneerdj.com/es-es/product/mixer/djm-900nxs2/black/specifications/
Think that will be less confusing if you say "rekordbox dj DVS Plus Pack compatible in the future NOT INCLUDED" or "dvs compatible in the future..."
We use cdi's and turntables so for me is very important that everyone who comes to djing dont have to carry external soundcards or another computer...
¿can you tell us some news about dvs pack?¿will be compatible with Serato or Traktor timecode vinyls? ¿release date?
¿something about Serato or Traktor for dvs support?
THANKS MARK!!
There isn't anything more we can do to make our more Traktor friendly. Native Instruments needs to support it in order to work with DVS when it is released. Right now you can use the NXS2 as an audio output as you could with the 900NXS.

As you can see in the image i can´t select the CH1 Control Tone PHONO.
that is market in gray color non in dark like the other options

@Cazmon > That is because the NXS2 does not work with Traktor DVS, as previously stated.
No necesary traktor, it does not work with other DVS systems at this time, i can´t no switch this option.
@Cazmon > We know. The 900NXS2 is not currently certified for DVS use with any software program.
Sorry about Mark; but tell me again that Pioneer controllers are useless with out Rekordbox... Also with out the announced in djm900nxs2 main features "dvs plus Pack"??
you can not use a Pioneer contoller with out dvs time control vinils?
Thats what i mean. Sorry about My english if i wasn't clear.
i was confused about the announced "dvs pack plus" with out a "not included" dont want a Rekorbox for free. I can afford. But this cuestion isn't clear.
Before write here i sent a email to Pionner Spain and they told me to use Serato Intro. Have this email stored. Quickly i realised that cant use The dvs function from My djm unless Pioneer unlock this "full duplex" function for each software. Cant understant because ie i can use a focusrite sound card or a m-audio to do it with virtual Dj. But cant do this with The superb audio card from My djm...
Now In Pioneer's web said in djm's main features "rekordbox dvs (not included)"
http://www.pioneerdj.com/en/product/mixer/djm-900nxs2/black/specifications/
@Joaquin > Yes, DVS support was announced on March 22nd.
No Mark, read again My first post and look The date...
@Joaquin > The answer to your original question remains the same. Rekordbox DJ is not free. The DVS plus pack is not free.
No Mark. In your answer you only talk about "Rekordbox Dj". Nothing about "DVS Pack Plus", nothing about the launch date from this pack, nothing about use timecode vinyls with the djm900nxs2...
Read again your answer please.
And if Pioneer have changed what they said in his web... Maybe was confused??
@Joaquin > I'm not sure what the miscommunication is. My original answer did not mention DVS because when I wrote my original answer, the DVS Plus Pack had not yet been released. The fact remains that NXS2 purchasers will not receive a rekordbox dj license for free. They will need to purchase a license. If they want to use DVS, they will need to purchase the DVS Plus Pack.
Now that the DJM-450 has been announced and is giving away free Rekordbox DVS licenses when purchased, is there any chance that Pioneer may rethink their stance on not giving RB DVS licenses to their customers that bought DJM 900nxs2's?
I think considering the fact that we've paid over ***Three times*** as much for the 900nxs2 than the DJM 450 and still do not have the ability to use Serato or Traktor DVS directly with the 900 nxs2 it would be the decent thing to do.
You've got to understand that this scenario stings 900nxs2 customers.
