I use this cable just to ensure it gets the required power and still it happens.

DDJ-SR glitching and acting strangely
Tried to add this to another support topic but apparently it was closed by a mod because people are upset their controllers aren't working.
At some point in playing, my right deck (typically my FX 1 button) will begin activating all of the other FX buttons and the tap tempo button. My slip buttons become active and I can't access my cue buttons.
I've upgraded Serato and the firmware, and changed USB cables.

@rballiram > You're using a $450 USB cable? Allow me to direct you to this article - while it's specific to audio cabling, there is little advantage to using a $450 cable over a $10 cable of decent quality. For example, I buy $25 Anker cables for my iPhone rather than the $5 knock-offs from China, because the build quality is better, and I'm not worried about a fire.
So even though I see the same issue with the LEDs, for testing I used a POWERED USB hub, with the SR being the only device plugged in. Same issue. And actually, when I tried to adjust the pitch range on the right deck, it made the LEFT deck go into beat grid mode.
I'm done with this thing. Two years of occasional use in my home studio, as a hobbyist, and it's no good? Gets worse when I don't even touch it?!
I'll put this thing on eBay for parts and go buy a set of 1200s and a Rane mixer.
You're not advised to use a USB hub, at all.
This topic will now be closed as you have already been directed to contact Pioneer DJ technical support to have your DDJ-SR serviced for diagnosis of the issue.
