DJM 900 NXS2 with 2 CDJ 2000 NXS no fader lights

I just got my DJM 900 NXS2 hooked it to my 2 CDJ 2000 NXS using the digital audio lines. The fader lights on my CDJ no longer turn red when fader is up. Any suggestions?

thanks.

Make sure the players and the mixer are linked up with an ethernet hub.

Depending on what channels you have the CDJ's connected to you have to go into the CDJ settings and change the channel # manually before the "On Air" lights come on.

- So if you're connected to channels 1 & 4 for example you would set the left cdj to be player # 1 and the right cdj to player #4.

I do have the Ilink hooked up. I think the CDJ's setting for channels is in auto mode. I will check. Thanks.

Tried manually setting numbers on CDJ's. No Joy.

Back to square one.

Do you have the "On Air" setting enabled in the CDJ's?

Mixer and CDJ's hooked up to an ethernet hub?

The player number must match the channel on the mixer; if your left CDJ is connected to channel 2, the player number must be manually set to 2. Please verify.

I went into the CDJ 2000 NXs settings and made sure that the CDJ match the fadder number. Still does not work. Keep in mind these are CDJ 2000 NXs not the new CDJ 2000 NXs2's

Thanks,

First, before i buy new CDJ-2000NXS2 players, i use also a new DJM-900NXS2 mixer with my old CDJ-2000NXS players en the red on air lights on my old CDJ's works also perfect when fader is up of DJM-900NXS2 mixer.

Thanks all for the suggestions on what to try. I checked the cat5 plugs even moved them around on the switch. Rebooted the system and the on air lights turned red when I moved the slider up. Not sure what I did but it's working now. Happy now.
