active loop is only available on the nexus model of the 2000, not the mk1 version as far as i am aware...

How to turn on Active Loop older CDJ 2000
Hi guys, does anybody knows how the Active Loop feature from update 4.20 works on the older CDJ2000? Ive pressed the little orange loop feature in Rekordbox so it become red and active. But when i load the same song in the CDJ after sync to usb, the loop is NOT active.
please help, ive searched but i could find how to do it...

in the hardware firmware 4.2, it clearly says that with that update, the older CDJ 2000 is also able to use that feature.
It says in the update history, you download that text file in the same spot as the firmware update, so go check it out.

no, it means that those features are available on the nexus model when connected to the older v1 model. it doesn't mean that the firmware allows those features to be available on the mk1 i think or maybe they do but only if you have a mk1 connected to a nexus, the wording isn't particularly clear!

• WAVEFORM ZOOM
• KEY indicators
• ACTIVE LOOP
• HOT CUE AUTO LOAD
