Please :)
I own a pair of CDJ 2000 Nexus since they were released. My problem is, that when I enter a manual loop (Quantize on, Master Tempo on), the first instance of the loop, very often comes with a clicking noise and doesn't run smoothly. The click occurs at the moment I press the "Loop Out button".
After the first instance, the loop is perfect. It's like the CDJ first doesn't know what's happening and then suddenly discovers it should be looping....
It only occurs on a manual loop, no matter if I push the loop buttons on or slightly off beat.
I'm using the latest firmware (1.24), and my mp3's are analyzed with the latest version of RB (3.3.0).
Sometimes I use the original 2000's and they don't have the issue. I hoped it would have been solved after so many firmware upgrades, but it's still there. Turning off Quantize or master tempo are a no go ! Please help.

Today a firmware update CDJ-2000NXS2 was released, fixing the issue!! Well, first of all this makes me 'proud' because posting 'my' issue had this effect.
But....: There still is no fix for the good 'old' NXS(1), which is still being used all over the world by many great DJ's..
So, did this make us still hopeful, or did we lose hope?
Pioneer, will there be a firmware update on the NXS(1) too ????
@Leon > It's possible.
What about the xdj1000mk2 ?
Good news. Yesterday I found out (by coincidence) that new firmware for the NXS1 is available (1.43)! The release date is tomorrow, but you can already download it here: https://www.pioneerdj.com/en-us/support/software/cdj-2000nxs/#firmware-update
The release notes have not been officially published yet, but I found them here: https://pdj-ecom-cdn.azureedge.net/-/media/pioneerdj/downloads/firmwares/players/cdj-2000nxs/cdj-2000nxs-firmware-change-history-ver143-en.pdf
The fist instance of the loop now might still not be flawless when you press OUT on a beat, but the annoying POP sound is history!
In the update the other issue I posted has been solved:

(@Ron Keij: Good workaround. But it can cause you to make mistakes when working with Quantize off, e.g.while playing off-grid music)
