yes, this has been mentioned on both the Nexus and Nexus 2's, maybe a future fw update to the players will allow for this. I guess maybe they figure buying NXS2's to control performance mode is way overkill so they didn't go crazy with the combination of the 2 yet

Followrekordbox DJ waveforms/hotcues in CDJ2000NXS2 display
This question is complicated to explain and if needed I can post some pics.
As it stands now, Rekordbox DJ in performance mode shows the waveform and hot cues on my laptop screen. It's pretty nice. However, on the CDJ2000NXS2 display there is an overview waveform at the bottom of the CDJ screen, but it is missing the cue points and it is also not displaying the zoomed in waveform in the main screen area. It's just blank.
In other words, while connected to rekordbox DJ, is it possible to make the CDJ display all information the same as if I were using a USB stick?

Mmm, I really thought that was the whole idea of exporting the tracks + info from Rekordbox to a USB. I assumed all cue points were visible in the bottom waveform. I really use them a lot.
you're talking about 2 different things though
exporting tracks to a usb and plugging it in and playing them has all the info on the deck now BUT if you are using performance mode (REKORDBOX DJ) then all the info is on your laptop screen so you don't need it all on the decks
you're trying to combine all the features of 2 different ways you can use rekordbox,
when owning nexus players rekordbox DJ is kinda a waste of money, free rekordbox is perfect for nxs and nxs2 players
^ Agreed. Using the CDJNXS2 as simple USB HID controllers really defeats the purpose of the CDJNXS2 which is to focus on the DJing portion of the performance and getting away from staring at the laptop. Rekordbox DJ is like Traktor in that it's made for controllers, hence why the NXS2 connects to RBDJ in a HID state.
To really make the most of your CDJNXS2, prep your tracks accordingly with hot cues, load them into your CDJ and start getting creative with your mixer and decks.
