DDJ-SX2 Shuts down

Hi I was in the middle of a set and the DDJ-SX2 just shut off on it's own, I checked the power source and the ac adaptor for the unit and everything was working . I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the power adaptor but the DDJ-Sx2 never came back on. I just purchased this unit 3 months ago and I got Pioneer because of it's outstanding reputation! Today is Sunday so I'll have to wait until tomorrow to call customer support, has this ever happened to anyone?

Strange.  The unit is still under warranty, so customer service can help you file a warranty claim.

How do you file a warranty claim if the unit was purchased from Amazon

I called Pioneer and then I took the controller to an authorized service center, it turns out that the unit had a defective board and it will take about 10days to repair it. I'm deeply disappointed in Pioneer, I've used several other brands such as M-Audio, Virtual Dj, Vestax, Numark and Denon and I never had such a serious issue. I really expected better from Pioneer!
