What do you mean by "crash" the OSC/FX?
Hi everyone
I am noticing a strange problem with version 4.1.2 where if you leave the controller idle for a bit and the demo mode kicks in can sporadically crash the OSC sampler and or FX. This problem did not happen with previous versions and seems to have started with 4.1.2.
Anyone else seeing this strangeness? Power cycling the controller does not help - restarting RB fixes the issue but is a bit intrusive.
TIA

What do you mean by "crash" the OSC/FX?
By crash I mean pressing the buttons they no longer work. If I put the OSC sampler in internal mode it works for example but the rekordbox driven sampler no longer works.
Same for half of the FX. The last time it happened my deck A's FX stopped working altogether.
I presume you've got firmware 1.06 installed, which operating system are you running, and does it happen every time?
Is a track playing at the time the "crash" occurs? Is the OSC or FX active at that time? Or is that what you're pressing to try and wake the RZ from the demo mode?
Yes firmware is at 1.06
The problem seems to occur if I leave the RZ alone for a bit and it enters demo mode. I'll hit a key to exit demo mode and start playing some tracks and then sometime into a set 30+ minutes the OSC sampler dies and also the FX.
I have never seen this happen unless the demo mode gets activated due to inactivity.
Which OS are you running?
OSX 10.11.5
So what you're describing is that you no longer have control over the FX or OSC in the software, if you flip the OSC to the hardware mode, does it generate the sounds?
Are you able to control everything else?
That is correct - rekordbox driven osc sampler is no longer usable. Flipping to hardware works. In addition FX was not working on deck A.
Everything else continued to work as normal.
