XDJ-RX malfunction

I bought my XDJ RX brand new about two weeks ago. Worked perfect last night. I wake up this morning excited to record a mix, and oh surprise the RX won't turn on. Master Rec is flashing. What just happened? I need answers please

Again, I apologize that this has occurred so suddenly.

This is not a mass-fault; there have been only 5 reported instances of this on the forums (of thousands of units sold), and as you may have seen, they occurred at random periods of ownership. Please return it to your dealer for an exchange.

@Jose > Sorry to hear about that - I believe that may be a hardware failure, but let me get an answer from our product team first.

Sounds good. But let me know if this is going to e something constant with pioneer. It's not fair that I paid over $1500 for a DJ system, and it breaks down with 2 uses. I had a numark NS6 for two years with no problems. If pioneer can't deliver reliability I'm getting my money back.

An immediate failure is hardly a fair assessment - the product isn't designed to fail 2 days after purchase, it could be virtually anything, and it didn't fail during QC where these early failures are typically caught.

Obviously. I did some research my self, and found that I am not the first person this happens to. So again, if the #1 company for DJ systems can't provide reliability to their systems then there's no point in using your products.

Just sounds unlucky.

Ive had an RX for over a year, and had a few bugs at the beginning, but all were rectified via firmware updates...

Stick with it man, it is a really great piece of kit!

@Jose > With thousands of units sold, and only a couple having a seemingly identical problem, it's not indicative of the product quality or build quality overall.
