Official comment
I will suggest this to our product planning team. In the meantime, you can simply make memory cues at your hot cue points to utilize the beat countdown.

Beat countdown to Hot Cue
Why is this not possible like it is in Traktor. Seems odd it will count down to Memory Cue but not a Hot Cue.
Any chance of it being added in the future ?

I totally agree. This was a huge disappointment when moving to rekordbox. Hope they fix tks our I'll be force to go back to traktor

Maybe someone can make a xml script that could duplicate hotcues to memory cues
