DDJ-SZ roll and slicer issue

Often times the roll/slicer pads DO NOT work or are unresponsive... HELP please:)))

***ie its inconsistent..

@David > The Roll and Slicer pads will not work if a beat grid is not set. For example, if you are playing back a DJ mix set, the BPM is not constant so those beat effects are disengaged.

@Rick > Our Serato controllers CAN work with rekordbox dj but the rekordbox controllers do not work with Serato.

On Rekordbox or Serato?

my RZ has no issues with Rekordbox, but I don't think it would

work on Serato. Your SZ is probably the same, works with Serato

probably not with Rekordbox.
