DDJ SZ Master level output lights not working

Hi all, i have an issue with the master level output display lights on my DDJ SZ. Sound is coming out as normal and the individual channel output lights are working. I am also unable to record anything, no sign of any output there either. I am using the latest version of Rekordbox Performance. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

@Tobie > Thanks - that helps!

What happens if you turn your speakers down and have the master turned all the way up? No lights at all?

Can you also please post a screen shot of the Audio page of the rekordbox preferences?

With speakers down i can turn the master up to just before half way then the lights come on. However it still has no effect on Rekordbox, the knob doesn't move and no lights?

In mixer mode external this is the way it´s meant to bee, the knob and the rms is inactive.

Really? Everything other line and eq knob works and moves in sync on my screen but not the master? So how do i record my mixes then, am i doing something wrong??

The recording should work normal, press the rec button on the verry top, close to fx and sampler button and the recording panel should show up, there you find a control  knob for the rec volume and the rms for the rec level.

Did you confirm the recording destination on the computer, which you find suggested in the settings of RB?

I received my DDJ-RZ today and I had the same issue, the master level didn't work and the LED's was dead

But I found the reason why it didn't work, I have a software installed on my MBP called Loopback from Rogue Amoeba http://rogueamoeba.com/loopback/

I used Loopback to output the sound from rekordbox dj to my monitors when I used my DDJ-WeGO3. After I removed rekordbox as Source in Loopback everything works perfect and as it should! :)

So check if you have any conflicting software on your Mac.

Hope this helps!

You should have the master turned up more than half, and are you expecting to see a level in the software if there's no level on the hardware?

What do you have configured for the return within the SZ audio settings utility?

@Zaid > The levels in the software are not set / controlled by the master knob on the hardware.

That looks like a normal master signal level if your master knob is turned down that far. Turn it up, lights will illuminate.

Its not normal that the channel signal going to 5 db and may b red light signal (over) and the master going to -5 or no signal .. as well as the master knob and signal on the software is not changed while im changing it on the controller

Both your channel fader and crossfader (if enabled) will affect the amount of signal going to the master; I just tested my DDJ-RZ in both Mac and Windows on 4.3.0 and 4.3.1 and had no difference between any of them.

I have exactly the same fault with my DD-RZ. Loads of level on the individual channel faders and although sound is outputting from the master none of the leds are lit up.

I have sound output from the Master. I have led levels on the individual channels but no led levels on the master output even with the master level on full.

This started after the last latest update.
