Jog Wheels Not Working on RX

Hi,

Im using pioneer ddj rx on rekordbox. For some reason the job wheels aren't letting me scrub through the track and I'm unable to set the cues and hot cues I want. The wheels work when I press the slip vinyl button but other than that they don't. Any help would be appreciated as I have a house party this weekend that I'm dj ing. Im sure it must be a simple fix as they were fine yesterday!

Cheers

Please follow these instructions to resolve the issue with your DDJ-RX:

  1. Disconnect the USB from the RX
  2. Turn on the power of RX while pressing [SHIFT] button on the left deck and [DECK 1] button at the same time.
  3. Wait about 5 seconds.
  4. Press the [SYNC] button on the both decks for 3 seconds.
  5. When the [SYNC] button LEDs are off, reconnect the USB and launch rekordbox.

Hi Pulse

Ive had a similar issue. The Platters won't respond to movement. When you put in Vinyl mode and touch the platter then the track stops (it recognises touch) though turning the platter or trying to scratch or move it will not move any of the track or it moves it delayed. like "lag etc"

any advice?

I have video footage if required?

I have tried checking settings and when I changed to a DDJ RZ i did not have this issue. Hence its and issue with the DDJ RX hardware.

@Andrew > There are many variables, but key would be the latency/buffer setting with the RX connected. Yes, the video would be helpful.

Hi apologies for delay in reply I have been away,

Unfortunately I am unable to post a video as  I went in to the shop I bought my RX from and they were unable to fix them also so they have been sent off to Pioneer for repair. It wasnt anything to do with the latency, slip mode or vinyl mode as I myself and the guys in the shop checked this. If, when repaired they tell me what was wrong I will let you know. Thanks for the replies!
