HARDWARE DISCONNECTED DDJ-SB2

*i know nothing about DJ equipment so please speak in leyman's terms*

I bought a DDJ-SB2, plugged it in, downloaded Serato DI intro, analyzed files etc. but it won't recognize my controller.

Help!

Mac or PC?  Which operating system version are you running?

I actually figured it out!

But (of course) I'm having a separate issue. I'm on a mac and when I open Serato, with my hardware connected, there is no sound. I'm not using external speakers - I just want to use my built in computer speakers and plug my headphones into the controller. Is that possible?

Unfortunately, this is not possible with Serato DJ without running a cable from your SB2's master output back into your Mac's line input.  But it IS possible with rekordbox dj ;)

@Matthew > Please create a new topic for your issue and leave us as much detail as possible.  Be sure to update to the latest firmware and make sure you're using the latest version of serato dj.
