DJM 900 NXS connection problem
I am trying to connect my DJM 900NXS to my computer or laptop, but when I do, the UTILITY SETTINGS does not open. I just want to record my set through either ableton or audacity.
The green USB light comes on and my PC recognizes that the device is plugged in (checked through control panel/devices), but nothing happens and it is not available in any programs. I have downloaded all the latest drivers and firmware. What could the issue be and how do I fix it?

I just upgraded my MAC to El Capitan and my PC is Windows 8. Neither of which worked, but both recognized that the DJM was connected.

Can you open the Setting Utility (found under the Programs or Applications, within the Pioneer/DJM-900nexus folder) and tell me what is shown on the About page?
